A Perfectly Normal Dungeon
This project was a practice in environmental storytelling. The environment was developed entirely in Unity using resources from several asset packs. My primary inspiration for this level was the movie The Cabin in the Woods, using a similar idea of a standard genre environment that is secretly an observational facility run by white-collar office workers. Although it seems like something might have gone wrong at this facility...

Rebellion of the Blob
Rebellion of the Blob is a sandbox platformer where the player controls a gelatinous blob that must consume everything around it to grow larger. The game includes breakable objects that can be shattered to create smaller pieces that can be consumed, as well as throwable objects to break or knock over other objects. I designed the sandbox level at various scales to allow for an interesting gameplay environment that changes as the player grows in size.

Child's Bedroom
This is a level design project where we were tasked with creating a 3D environment for a player to explore. The environment was developed primary in Maya before being exported to Unity for gameplay. My project was set from the perspective of a very small person traversing a child's messy bedroom filled with toys.

The level starts with the player on the bed, allowing for them to immediately overlook and preview the rest of the level.
After crossing the bedstand, the player reaches the floor by going down a large play slide. At the top of the slide, the player can get a better view of the first half of the level, as it was not very visible from the starting point on top of the bed.
After reaching the floor, the player goes underneath the bed that they started on, loosely led by scattered pencils and book corners that point the way. Emerging on the other side of the bed, a stuffed bear and leaning toy sword further direct the player's attention towards their next destination - a vibrant pink dollhouse.
As the player enters the dollhouse, they find their way forward by ascending the stairs of the dollhouse.
As the player ventures through the dollhouse, they gain a clearer view of their eventual destination, that of an open window marked by a shining gold trophy.
At the top floor of the dollhouse, the player finds a broken railing on the balcony, with another section of the railing partially broken and pointing downwards towards their goal.
Halfway through the train set play-table, the player turns back towards a purple tube that will take them up to the top of the drawers, where their goal awaits.
After climbing up through the tube, a collectible figurine will point the player in the direction of the golden trophy and open window. After reaching the trophy and exiting through the window, the player has completed the level!
